Does Google highlight the end of original thought?

Does Google highlight the end of original thought?

Stuck for an answer? Pondering the wonders of the wider world? Who can say they've never found themselves consulting the online oracle AKA Google as a means of putting the world to right?

Nine times out of ten Google will serve up just what you're looking for within seconds or even go so far as to answer your question in the meta description alone.

This got us thinking...

Does 'original thought' no longer exist?

While Google Suggest is ideal for narrowing down your search even faster, it's also become mildly depressing that someone, somewhere has asked your question before – not matter how obscure.

Ways to build a volcano? Asked.
How do I swap heads in photoshop? Asked.
What noise does a giraffe make? Asked...'whistle like cries apparently'.

Anyway the point we're getting at is Google's great for educating people and helping us expand our knowledge but at the same time has an uncanny way of highlighting how unoriginal our thoughts can be.

Whilst pre-internet ponderings might have subsquently lead you to ask 'I wonder if anyone else thinks that', now there's definitive proof there's people out there who are just as bizzare and are faster at typing because they made it to Google first.

We did have one question we didn't get a definitive answer for though -

“On a scale of one to ten how good looking are QueryClick?”. We're not sure if Google has censored this search query but all answers on the back of a postcard are welcome.
