Web Content Management

What is Web Content management?

Web content management is essentially the implementation, and maintenance of a system designed and built to allow you to edit content on your website. Often considered the "admin area" it allows you to make content changes on your site without requiring in-depth technical knowledge of code or the mechanics of web pages.

We at QueryClick have our own simple, but versatile in-house content management system (CMS), which guarantees SEO friendly content delivery & ease of content management via Django’s celebrated admin system.

Our in-house CMS solution delivers perfect SEO, fast server response times & powerful permission controls for web editors. It allows you to upload and edit content freely and easily.

The system is built upon Python 2.5, using the Django 1.2.1 framework which has been extended by QueryClick to add WYSIWYG functionality in editing page architecture, advanced SEO functions, granular permission controls, easy multilingual editing & publishing, image management and more.

How does it help me?

Upgrading to a modern content management system offers many business benefits including the following:

  • QueryClick’s managed CMS solution allows for full data portability and is built entirely using open source codebases. This means that our clients are not ‘locked in’ and are free to use alternative Python developers to support or extend the CMS should they so wish.
  • QueryClick are therefore incentivised to deliver excellent client service and continually enhance the CMS as part of their day to day support.
